This week I....

...booked plane tickets and hotel reservations for Venice (or rather, someone at work did for me) for October.

...booked plane tickets and an Airbnb for Barcelona... to see the Festa De Merce!

...tried out the Mexican restaurant Kombuse, possibly the mexican I've had in Germany! There was a punk concert down the street and by the time we left, a brass section had joined in by the sound of it.

...worked out our itinerary for Rome this next weekend.

...read a very exiting post called "How I almost Died in Peru" on the Essential Destinations blog.

...learned about this weird rule that can have your visa request rejected if you have less than 6 months left before your passport expires: "How a Little-Known Passport Rule Could Ruin Your Vacation, Costing Thousands"

  1. Yeah. It's a pretty standard thing with the passport and the visa, and needing at least 6 mths on the former. Sounds like a packed itinerary you have there. Enjoy!
