Sushi in the Park
On our last day in London, we had some time to kill before heading to the airport. As our bus was leaving from near Victoria Station, we wanted to wait somewhere nearby where our backpacks wouldn't get in the way, so we headed for St James Park.We grabbed sushi from a surprisingly reasonable (and very busy) place called the Japan Centre and ate in St James Park before catching our bus to Stanstead.

There are deck chairs in the park you can sit in, but you'll get charged £1.50 (we couldn't see this posted anywhere and were pretty surprised when someone came by to collect the fee). There are also pelicans in the lake.

At the other end of the park is Buckingham Palace, awfully grey and uncomfortable looking.
